Delete your CWF account and data
Last updated 3 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account for the CWF (Cricket With Fun) app by Cubbing Solutions Pvt Ltd, and exactly what happens to your data.
Option 1: delete inside the app
If you signed in with Google or Apple:
- Open CWF and go to the Me tab.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete account again.
Deletion happens straight away and signs you out on every device. It cannot be undone.
Option 2: request deletion by email
Use this if you cannot open the app, or if you never had an account and a captain simply listed you on a team.
Email logesh@cubbingsolutions.com with the subject "CWF account deletion request" and tell us:
- your name as it appears in CWF, and the sign-in email (if you signed in);
- the name of a team or match you appear in, so that we can find your profile; and
- whether you want everything deleted, or only your phone number or name removed.
We may reply to confirm it is really you. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity, and we will email you when it is done. If you are a parent or guardian asking on behalf of a child, say so in your email.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in details: Google or Apple account link, email address, name and profile picture link, and any Apple token we hold (we ask Apple to revoke it).
- All your sessions, on every device, and any device notification tokens.
- Your account record, including the guest device ID if it was a guest account.
- Your phone number, wherever it was stored: your profile, join requests, consent records and merge history.
- Your membership of any organisation, and any captain or admin rights you held on teams.
What is kept
Other people rely on shared match records, so some data stays, without your account attached:
- Your player profile is renamed to "Deleted player" everywhere it appears, including past scorecards and live match pages. Your cricket statistics stay attached to this renamed profile so other people's records remain complete. You are no longer linked to any sign-in.
- Matches and tournaments you created stay, with you removed as the creator. Teams you own get a new owner from your members: we prefer an existing team admin, then the longest-standing member. If no suitable member exists, a team that has never played is deleted, but a team with match or tournament history stays (without an owner) so your players' records stay intact.
- Internal records such as join, dispute and merge history keep an internal reference number that no longer points to any account or person.
- Backups of our database are kept for up to 30 days and then expire. Deleted data is not restored from them.
- We may keep data we are legally required to keep.
Other requests
If you only want to remove a phone number, hide a match from your public profile or correct your name, the same email address works. See the privacy policy for all your rights and for how to reach our Grievance Officer.
